USA Cycling reports successful conclusion of 2023 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships. Chloé Dygert (Brownsburg, Ind.; CANYON//SRAM Racing) claims double victory, becoming the first rider since 2017 to secure both national titles.

Quinn Simmons (Durango, Colo.; Trek-Segafredo) triumphs in adverse weather, earning his first Elite National Title racing the USA Cycling Pro Road National Championship in the men’s elite race held in Knoxville last weekend. He finished the race with a time of 3 hours, 53 minutes, and 16 seconds (3:53:16). Tyler Williams and Tyler Stites secured the second and third positions, respectively.
After his victory, Simmons celebrated with his family, but his focus quickly shifted to the upcoming 2023 Tour de France. He had to fly back to Europe only hours after winning the national championship on Sunday.
Chloe Dygert, who had won the Time Trials on Thursday, emerged as the champion in the women’s elite race held earlier that morning. She completed the race with a time of 3:02:30.
Simmons expressed his excitement about wearing the U.S. jersey in the upcoming Tour de France, which would take place the following month.
